Author Kostis Papagiorgis dies at 67

Author Kostis Papagiorgis has died at the age of 67, it was announced on Saturday. He had been suffering from cancer.

Papagiorgis went into writing from 1975, after returning from his studies in Paris. He also translated philosophy books into Greek. He was also a columnist for several newspapers and magazines, including Lifo and Athinorama. He received a state award for his writing in 2002.
