Four Golden Dawn MPs, including leader’s wife, to face magistrates
Four Golden Dawn MPs who have had their parliamentary immunity lifted are due to face on Monday morning the magistrates investigating the party’s alleged criminal activities.
The four lawmakers are Eleni Zaroulia (the wife of party leader Nikos Michaloliakos), Michalis Arvanitis, Nikos Kouzilos and Dimitris Koukoutsis. They face charges of being part of a criminal organization.
Another three Golden Dawn MPs had their immunity lifted on April 30 but are yet to be called by magistrates Ioanna Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou. Ex-GD lawmaker Chrysovalantis Alexopoulis is also waiting for Parliament to decide his fate.
