Police officer accused of poisoning dogs in western Greece

A police officer appeared before a prosecutor on Friday after being arrested in the area of Kerasohori in Thesprotia, western Greece, on charges of poisoning and killing two sheepdogs.

The 42-year-old was detained following a complaint filed by the dogs’ owner, a 46-year-old Albanian national, who alleged that the former poisoned the animals and subsequently threatened him.
