Quake jolts northwestern Greece in early hours

An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale rattled the northwestern Greek town of Igoumenitsa on Monday, the Geodynamic Institute said.

The tremor, which struck at 3.54 a.m., was felt in various parts of the region.

No damage or injuries have been reported.
