Up to 20 tons of campaign material to be collected in Athens after Sunday

Up to 20 tons of campaign posters and leaflets are expected to be collected by municipal workers in Athens in the wake of local and European elections on Sunday, Skai reports.

The amount of trash in Thessaloniki, Greece’s northern port city, is expected to reach 15 tons, according to the same report.

Meanwhile, cleaning personnel at the municipality of Iraklio, on Crete island, have reportedly collected more than 8 tons of campaign material since Monday.
