Aftershock measuring 4.0 hits Northern Aegean

An earthquake of 4.0 magnitude occurred 50 kilometers east of Lemnos, in the area of Saros Bay, in the Northern Aegean Sea early on Wednesday.

According to the Seismological Station of Thessaloniki’s Aristotle University, the quake was part of aftershock activity following a 6.4 on the Richter scale tremor that shook the area last Saturday.
