Police publishes photograph of suspected pedophile
The Greek Police on Tuesday released the name and photograph of a 52-year-old man accused of sexually abusing minors.
The suspect was arrested in Ptolemaida, northern Greece, on June 2 and faces a long list of charges, including making sexual advances to minors and possession of pornographic material featuring children.
Police headquarters issued a statement saying the decision to make the 52-year-old’s identity public, a measure rarely resorted to, was to safeguard the public and draw attention to the heinous nature of his crimes.
