PASOK officials meet amid concerns within party
PASOK’s political council is due to meet on Monday, with leader Evangelos Venizelos facing a number of internal rifts.
The deputy prime minister is due to address the council members in a meeting where the party’s performance in the European and local elections in May is due to be discussed.
However, the gathering comes immediately in the wake of one MP, Dimitris Kremastinos, suggesting he might leave the party if does not “shift ideologically.”
Also, six PASOK members published a statement on Saturday criticizing the recent reshuffle and expressing fears that the government is slipping on the reform front.
