Greek MEP Papadakis discliplined for interrupting Le Pen
Greek MEP Costas Papadakis was disciplined on Tuesday after interrupting French National Front leader Marine Le Pen during a session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
European Parliament President Martin Schulz ordered Papadakis, who belongs to the Greek Communist Party (KKE), to leave the chamber after the latter began to address MEPs in Greek when Le Pen had been given the floor.
Papadakis objected to the fact that Le Pen was the first of the non-aligned MEPs to be given the right to speak after the heads of each political grouping in the European Parliament had their say.
