Man arrested for firing at police
A 30-year-old man was expected to face a prosecutor after being arrested for firing a shotgun at police in Lamia, central Greece, late on Sunday.
Authorities were called to the man’s home after receiving complaints that the suspect had been firing the weapon into the air.
The suspect, who did not have a permit for the weapon, reportedly turned the shotgun on the officers, damaging a vehicle but causing no injuries.
