Construction work on an Olympics-related road project proceeds yesterday outside the southern Athens Peace and Friendship Stadium, where the Olympic volleyball tournament will be held next summer. A series of trial events in Olympic venues starts today with the World Junior Rowing Championships that are set to open at Schinias, near Marathon in northeastern Attica.
