Man found safe after fall from 35-meter-high bridge in Halkida
A 27-year-old man was found safe and well after falling from a 35-meter-high bridge in Halkida, in the Gulf of Evia, on Thursday night.
The man managed to swim to an islet in the gulf where the local waste management plant is located. Workers at the plant spotted him there on Friday morning and he was transferred by boat to shore.
It remained unclear whether his fall was an accident or an attempted suicide.
