Robber-locksmith nabbed in Thessaloniki
A 47-year-old Thessaloniki man was charged with theft on Thursday after allegedly posing as a locksmith in order to gain access to people’s homes and rob them.
The suspect, who had put up stickers to advertise his services in several apartment blocks in and around the suburb of Polichni, was caught after one of his alleged victims, a 54-year-old woman, contacted police, telling them that the 47-year-old had swiped cash from her home after picking her lock.
