Climber rescued on Mount Olympus

A 62-year-old mountain climber who suffered head injuries after falling off a 40-meter cliff on Mount Olympus early on Saturday was transported to a military hospital in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, later in the day, authorities announced.

The man was rescued by members of the fire department and Hellenic Rescue Team volunteers. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
