In memory of Saunders
British Government Minister for Defense Procurement Lord Bach (r) attended the official unveiling yesterday at the Anglican Church of St Paul’s of a plaque in memory of Brigadier Stephen Saunders, the British military attache in Athens who was assassinated by November 17 terrorists last June. The ambassadors of Britain, the USA and Canada also attended, as well as Saunders’s widow, Heather (l). They have abandoned the concept of a single state with two politically equal communities called for by the Security Council, he said.
