Electricity supply restored on Rhodes after power outage
Rhodes suffered an electricity outage on Saturday morning after a technical glitch at the Soroni power station, reports said.
Operation of the southeastern island’s wind park turbines was also interrupted thus obstructing attempts to switch the station back into operation.
Power was gradually restored to the island within hours.
