Two small boats sink at Lavrio port
A Cypriot-flagged cargo vessel, Alios, collided against a floating platform before hitting and sinking two smaller boats docked at Lavrio port, southeast of Athens, late on Friday.
The incident occurred after the Cypriot vessel’s mooring ropes came loose as a result of strong winds blowing in the area.
