Archbishop Christodoulos (c), on a visit to Poland, yesterday met with Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski (l) in Warsaw. Meanwhile today, Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomaios, the the midst of a power struggle with Christodoulos, is due to start a four-day visit to the western Peloponnese and the islands of Zakynthos and Cephalonia.
