Cypriot arrested at Thessaloniki airport with thousands of firecrackers
A 24-year-old Cypriot national was arrested by police officers at Thessaloniki’s Makedonia Airport on Monday, after he was found to be carrying more than 3,000 firecrackers in his luggage.
A police report indicated the suspect was found carrying 118 parcels containing a total of 3,340 firecrackers.
The suspect was to face a local prosecutor.
