Alleged Xeros accomplice refuses to answer magistrate’s questions
Angeliki Spyropoulou, 22, faced an investigative magistrate on Thursday but refused to answer any questions regarding charges brought against her for allegedly acting as an accomplice of convicted November 17 terrorist Christodoulos Xeros, while he was on the run.
Authorities believe that Spyropoulou played an integral part in an operation allegedly co-organized by members of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire guerilla group and Xeros to help Conspiracy members escape from maximum security Korydallos Prison.
Spyropoulou was taken into pre-trial custody following her deposition.
