Tsipras to meet OECD’s Gurria on Thursday, EC’s Juncker on Friday
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker are due to meet in Brussels on Friday morning, the former’s office said on Monday.
Tsipras and Juncker are to discuss the possible use of European Union funds to address Greece’s humanitarian crisis, the prime minister’s office said. The meeting is due to take place at 9 a.m. Brussels time.
A day earlier, Tsipras will meet with Angel Gurria, the secretary general of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), in Paris. Tsipras is due to deliver a speech at the OECD’s headquarters regarding the structural reforms his government intends to implement.
Gurria has agreed for the OECD to provide technical assistance in Greece’s reform process.
