More than 2.5 tons of rotting food confiscated at Piraeus customs

Regional authority inspectors in the port city of Piraeus on Tuesday confiscated 21.5 tons of rotting meat, fish and dairy products from a shipping container at the port’s customs area.

The food had been shipped by a company in the United Kingdom to a ship supplier in Greece.
