Three suspected of throwing drugs, phones into Larissa jail

Three men suspected of having tried to smuggle a package containing drugs and cell phones into Larissa Prison in central Greece faced a prosecutor on Thursday.

The suspects are alleged to have lobbed a plastic package over the prison’s perimeter wall that contained a small amount of cannabis, three cell phones equipped with SIM cards and several cables from cell phone chargers.
