Two officers shot during taffic stop in Crete

Two police officers were injured in Crete on Monday when an unidentified man opened fire during a traffic stop.

The officers were conducting a traffic stop in Apokoronas district, northwestern Crete, when the man fired a rifle injuring one of them in the head and the other in the foot. The two officers were taken to Chania hospital.

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
