Greek ministers begin four-day visit to Beijing

Deputy Prime Minister Yiannis Dragasakis (photo) and Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias are due to begin a four-day trip to China on Wednesday with the aim of improving bilateral ties but also exploring investment and trade opportunities.

Kotzias is due to meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Wednesday, while Dragasakis is slated to hold talks with Vice Premier Ma Kai on Friday.

It is the first visit by Greek officials to Beijing since the change of government in Athens following the January 25 general elections.
