Former Justice Minister Evangelos Yiannopoulos, a founding member of ruling PASOK, known for his outspoken manner, died of heart failure early yesterday in an Athens hospital. He was 85. Premier Costas Simitis praised him as ‘a politician always at the forefront of the struggles of our people, defender and voice of the common man.’
