PM Costas Simitis and Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos inaugurated the joint Greek-Cypriot Hellas Sat satellite with a live link between Athens and Nicosia yesterday. Simitis also spoke with the head of the Greek military contingent in Afghanistan and the mayor and sole doctor on the islets of Fournoi. Papadopoulos later arrived in Athens.
