The Drakospito…
The Drakospito, an ancient structure with a roof made of enormous flat stones, on the top of Ochi Mountain on Evia, is part of a region that has been included in the EU’s NATURA program. On Monday, an information center was inaugurated and the Dimosari Gorge will now be open for hikers and visitors. Work aimed at restoring the area began in 1996.
