Brussels Group postponed to Wednesday
A new round of discussions between Greece and its creditors, originally expected to take place on Tuesday, have been postponed to Wednesday, a high-ranking government official said on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, European Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas said that Tuesday’s Brussels group was expected to “accelerate progress” in view of Greece reaching an agreement with its partners and lenders.
Sources in Athens indicated that a teleconference between Greek and European officials could take place late on Tuesday, prior to Wednesday’s proceedings.
