Greek seamen to strike over collective contracts on June 30

There will be no passenger ferries in service on Tuesday, June 30, as seamen have decided to strike because they feel their collective work contracts are not being respected by some firms.

Their union, PNO, said on Tuesday that many sailors are unpaid and that some companies are using uninsured employees.

The protest action is due to last for the whole of Tuesday.

Travelers are advised to check with ferry companies for further details.
