European Commission publishes latest draft proposal for Greece
The European Commission has published the latest draft proposal agreed by the institutions and, according to Brussels, presented to the Greek government last Friday.
The move to publish the document was made “in the interest of transparency and for the information of the Greek people,” the Commission noted in a statement.
In the statement, the Commission said that “neither this latest version of the document, nor an outline of a comprehensive deal could be formally finalized and presented to the Eurogroup due to the unilateral decision of the Greek authorities to abandon the process on the evening of 26 June 2015.”
