Police Cyber Crime Unit saves woman’s life
The Cyber Crime Unit of the Greek Police on Thursday saved the life of a 33-year-old woman who had indicated that she intended to kill herself in a post on a social networking site on Wednesday, police sources said.
Officers traced the woman to her home, where they found her unconscious, according to reports that said the 33-year-old had consumed a large quantity of alcohol and pills.
The woman was transferred to the nearest hospital, where she was said to be in a stable condition yesterday. The Cyber Crime Unit stops dozens of suicides every year.
