Acting chief of Vouli TV lashes out at parliamentary speaker
The acting director of the state-owned Vouli television channel, which is run by the Greek Parliament, on Friday published an open letter complaining that the way the station was being handled is in violation of “any concept of professional conduct and impartiality.”
Aristeidis Fatouros addressed his letter to parliamentary speaker Zoe Constantopoulou, under whose jurisdiction the channel operates.
In the letter that he made public, Fatouros accused Constantopoulou of “abuse of power, displays of arrogance and amorality,” saying that she has used her authority to appoint inadequate people to posts in the channel.
