Tourist drowns in Crete
An unidentified 78-year-old tourist who was vacationing in Crete drowned while swimming in Ierapetra, on the island’s southeast coast.
The man was taken by ambulance to the Ierapetra Health Center, where doctors confirmed his death. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown.
