New Greek chief of general staff appointed
Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis on Tuesday officially took over as Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA), replacing Michail Kostarakos, who held the office for four years.
Apostolakis said his goal was to ensure Greece remains a “pillar of stability and safety in the broader region and in the eastern Mediterranean.
