List of unions joining Thursday’s general strike growing

State hospitals will operate with skeleton staff on Thursday as doctors’ and nurses’ unions join a general strike called by public and private sector labor groups.

The Public Power Corporation’s main workers’ union, GENOP, said that its members would also participate in Thursday’s strike.

There will be no metro service in Athens on the day of the strike.
