KEP employee shot in the Peloponnese

A 42-year-old employee at a Citizens’ Information Center (KEP) suffered arm and leg injuries after being shot at work in the village of Geraki in the Peloponnese at around 2 p.m. on Friday.

The woman was shot by an 82-year-old man in an incident that authorities believe was prompted by personal differences between the pair.

The victim was taken to a local health center for treatment for non-life threatening injuries, while the man was arrested.
