Businessman attacks IKA inspectors

The union representing employees at Greece’s main social security organization, IKA, alleged Wednesday that an entrepreneur in Thessaloniki attacked inspectors who visited his business.
According to the union, the business owner punched one of the two IKA inspectors.
He also pressed charges against the two fund employees, who were taken into custody and only released later that night.
“Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident,” said the union, POS-IKA, in a statement.
It added that another inspector was recently threatened and had his car attacked while carrying out a check on a company.
