Pappas: ERT didn’t pay staff 2.7 mln euros for overtime

Responding to a question from a PASOK MP, State Minister Nikos Pappas on Tuesday denied that Greek public broadcaster ERT had paid 2.7 million euros in overtime to its employees last year.

According to the data provided by Pappas, last year’s overtime cost ERT 320,000 euros.

Pappas said that the broadcaster, reopened last year by the SYRIZA-led coalition, employs 2,269 people.
