Greek accountants to join wave of protest action
Accountants and tax experts are the latest professional group to announce protests against the proposed pension reform drawn up by the government.
Their unions decided on Tuesday to hold a protest in front of the Finance Ministry on February 23 and another in front of the General Secretariat of Information Systems on March 1.
They are also planning to announce a date on which their members will block access to tax offices around the country.
The accountants are demanding that the coalition withdraw the pension plan and begin discussions with them from scratch.
