Protest outside Austrian Embassy on Saturday
Campaigners demanding that the European Union provide refugees with safe passage from Turkey are planning to hold a protest outside the Austrian Embassy in Athens on Saturday.
The demonstration is due to begin at 1 p.m. and comes in the wake of a diplomatic dispute between Greece and Austria after the latter limited the number of asylum seekers it is accepting and held a summit with Balkan countries to discuss the refugee crisis without inviting representatives of the Greek government.
