German divers Ditte Kotzian and Conny Schmalfuss perform in the women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard event at the 14th FINA Diving World Cup that began in Athens yesterday. The five-day competition is both a qualifying round for the Olympics and a test event for the venue ahead of the Games set to take place August 13-29. A total of 210 men and women from 50 countries are competing. The competition has four events, consisting of the 3-meter springboard, 10-meter platform, 3-meter springboard synchronized and 10-meter platform synchronized.
