Israel’s Peres holds talks with Tsipras, Pavlopoulos in Athens
Former Israeli president Shimon Peres met with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in Athens on Monday and discussed bilateral relations.
On Sunday, Peres also met with President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, who paid tribute to the contribution the veteran Israeli politician had made to peace in the region, calling him “an inspiration to all of us.”
