Police officer found shot dead in Karditsa
Police in Karditsa, central Greece, were on Tuesday investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 47-year-old fellow officer whose body was found on Monday afternoon near a local farm.
The body bore gunshot wounds and there was a revolver on the ground nearby, police said, without confirming whether the death was a suicide or may have involved foul play.
