Search under way for missing father and daughter
A search was under way on Monday for a 68-year-old man and his 44-year-old daughter who have been unaccounted for since Saturday when they set out to visit the village of Douneika, in the Peloponnesian prefecture of Ilia.
The man’s wife told police that the pair had gone to visit a church and did not have their cellphones with them. The family lives in the Athens neighborhood of Ilion and was holidaying in Ilia.
