Two women caught with fake travel documents
Police at Hania Airport on the island of Crete arrested two Iranian women, aged 33 and 40, on forgery charges on Saturday.
Initial reports suggested that both the 40-year-old, who was accompanied by her young son, and the 33-year-old, who was with her daughter, also a minor, presented fake travel documents in an attempt to board a plane for Dusseldorf in Germany.
The women were due to face a local prosecutor later in the day.
