Light tremor hits Evia, Skyros

An 4.1 magnitude quake with its epicenter in the sea between the islands of Evia and Skyros rattled surrounding areas and was felt as far as Athens on Friday.

According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the temblor took place at 4.37 p.m., while its exact epicenter was 39 kilometers south of Skyros and 96 km northeast of Athens.
