Pedestrian killed on Katerini-Thessaloniki highway
A 53-year-old Bulgarian man died after being crushed by two cars while trying to cross the old highway linking the northern cities of Katerini and Thessaloniki on Monday night, the ANA-MPA news agency reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, the pedestrian was mowed down at around 9 p.m. by a 44-year-old man who was driving along the rural highway and then hit again by another car, driven by a 28-year-old woman, after he fell to the ground.
Both drivers have been arrested.
