A 3.7-magnitude tremor shook Crete early Monday. According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the quake occurred at 4.37 a.m., eight kilometers north of Tylisos and 11 kilometers northwest of the island’s capital, Iraklio, at a depth of 53 kilometers.
The tremor was hardly felt by locals on the island, reports said, due to its depth.
