Man surrenders for killing girlfriend in Halkida
A man who was on the run after allegedly murdering his 24-year-old partner on Monday in Halkida, north of Athens, turned himself in Wednesday.
His female partner was found dead, after apparently being severely beaten, in a shack in the Halkida region.
The suspect was detained at Halkida police station Wednesday and was being interrogated.
